Q - I have heard about feeding a raw food diet for cats, but my cat is 15 years old. Wouldn’t it upset her to switch her diet at this age?

A - A raw food diet is definitely the optimum diet for your feline friend. Cats are true obligate carnivores, requiring a high meat diet in order to thrive. Although it is easiest to start cats on a raw food diet as kittens, it is never too late to switch your cat’s diet, even at the age of fifteen. For some cats, this may just take a little extra effort and determination.

Q – My family just got a new kitten and it is driving us crazy! Climbing the curtains, waking us up at 5 am to be fed and playing all night. How can we tame this wild cat?
 
A – Cats are naturally nocturnal animals, and they instinctively sleep during the day and stay up at night. That being said, there are many things you can do to prevent your kitten from destroying your house…and your sanity!
